National Event

Thank you for playing MLB Manager Online.

We are pleased to announce our first National Event. All entrants will be divided by home state and the best team from each state will then go on to battle to become the top team in the US.
High ranked teams will receive rare training cards or maybe even a Cost 10 scout ticket!
On top of that, all teams from the same home state as the winning team will receive a special bonus, regardless of whether they joined the tournament or not!

National Event

Tournament Setup
Registration Period Enter the preliminary tournament for your home state. Entry fee = 100 pts
Home State Preliminary A preliminary tournament to select a team to represent each state.
Group Stage Representative teams from each of the 52 states will be spilt into 8 groups
Best 8 The winner of each group will then go on to the final stage to fight to become number 1 in the US.
Results Published When the tournament results are published, all teams from the same home state as the tournament winner will receive a bonus prize.

* Registering your home state for the National Event

  • For teams that proceed to the Best 8 stage, your home location at the start of the tournament is the home location that will be used throughout the entire tournament.
  • For teams that join the tournament but are knocked out either in the Preliminary or Group stages, your home location at the time the Best 8 tournament begins will be used to determine your home location for the purpose of awarding the bonus prize for being from the same home location at the tournament winner.
  • For teams that do not enter the tournament, your home location at the time the Best 8 tournament begins will be used to determine your home location for the purpose of awarding the bonus prize for being from the same home location at the tournament winner.

* Your roster at the start of each stage will be used for games in that stage. In other words, you can change your roster between stages.

* The National Event is a knockout tournament, so if you lose one game you will be out of the tournament.

* Please note, there are 3 different National Events. The schedule for tournaments depends on which world you are in.

* All games for a given stage will occur at the same time so results will be immediately available.

* You cannot view tournament results once the publication period has expired.

You will earn points based on your team’s performance in all tournament games.

* ”Entry” bonus points will be awarded to all entrants who do not make it to the best 4 in their Home State Preliminary.

* All teams with the same home state as the winning team will be awarded the “Same Home State” bonus regardless of whether they entered the tournament or not.

  • * Tournaments may be cancelled due to lack of participants, or necessary emergency maintenance.
  • * You cannot view tournament results once the publication period has expired.
  • * You can cancel your registration at any time between the registration period closing and the tournament beginning by clicking the “Retire” button.
  • * Please make sure you check the tournament results. You will not receive your prize points or entry reward until you check the results. If you do not check your results before the publication period expires, you will not receive your prize points or entry reward.
