Chat Instructions

Chat and enjoy communicating with other players!

Channel Display Buttons Button to select which chat channel to display.
Channel Selection Button Button to select which chat channel to chat in.
Text Input box Click and enter your message here. Press the "Enter" key to send your message.
Message Display Area Displays the messages you have sent and received.
Help Button Click to display the online Play Guide for each screen.

There are several chat channels for you to chat in.
Each chat channel will be displayed in a different color.

General Chat

You can send messages to all players who are logged in.

Fan Team Chat

You can send messages to all players with the same favorite team as you who are logged in.

Group Chat

You can send messages to players using the same group channel.

Trade Chat

Chat used for players who want to trade with other players.

Individual Chat

You can send messages to specific players.
The direction of the sign between the owner name and the message will help you identify whether you are receiving or sending the message.

Switching Chat Channels

  1. Click on the Channel Selection button.
  2. Click on the channel you wish to chat.
  3. The display of the Channel Selection button will change when you switch chat channels.
    You can also switch between different chat channels by using the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard.

Hiding Certain Chat Rooms

To hide a channel, click on the corresponding button. Click the button again to have it displayed.
When the button is white, the channel is displayed. When the button is grey the channel is hidden.
Individual Chat is always displayed.

How to use Individual Chat

  1. Set the chat channel on Individual Chat.
  2. Enter the recipient's name in the area where the Enter Owner Name is displayed.

    * Names entered in the past can be chosen using the up and down arrow keys.

    * By double clicking the owner name displayed on the chat window, the relevant name will come up automatically in the Enter Owner Name box.

  3. Press Enter after typing in your message in the text entry box.

How to Chat in Group Chat

  1. Select Group Chat.
  2. Enter up to 4 numbers as shown below.
  3. The "connected" message will be displayed by clicking JOIN, and you will be able to chat with players connected to the same room. You can invite your friends by sharing the room number with them on the Individual Chat channel or by sending them an in-game e-mail.
  4. Click EXIT to disconnect.
  • * You can only connect to one Group Chat Room at a time.
  • * Rooms entered in the past can be chosen using the up and down arrow keys.
