World Champions Tournament (WCT)

What is the Swiss-style Tournament?

The Swiss-style tournament goes for a predetermined number of rounds, where teams holding the same number of wins and losses are paired to compete.
The team with the highest score when all rounds are finished becomes the champion.
Since teams with the closest records are matched up, there is a chance that you may play against the same team more than once.

Example

1st round Compete against the opponent that will be chosen randomly from all class; from the Major class to A class.
2nd round Teams that won and teams that lost compete against each other.
3rd round Teams with two wins, one win and one loss, and two losses compete against each other.
4th round Teams that hold a close record up until the 3rd round compete against each other.
5th round onwards As in the 4th round, teams that hold a close record up until the 3rd round compete against each other.

Game length and determining ranks

Since it is a knockdown tournament, you will be eliminated from the World Tournament once you lose.
Teams with the highest number of wins will be chosen for the top 8 teams. If the teams hold the same number of wins, the rank will be decided as follows:

  1. Total number of wins by all teams you have played against
  2. Total number of wins by our team
  3. Total score
  4. Minimal runs
  5. Low Team Cost
