Note on trade for non-starting players

Even if you trade and immediately re-acquire the same player, the condition of the player not being able to play as a starting member will continue until the restriction is released. The period of this restriction as a non-starting member is shown in the table below.

January 1st 8pm Starting pitcher A is taken out of the team roster.
January 1st 8:30pm Player B is acquired as a result of trading Player A and Player B.
January 1st 9pm Player A is re-acquired as a result of trading Player B and Player A. Player A is still not available to play as a starting member at this point.
January 3rd 8pm The restriction for player A is taken off.

* If Player A is re-acquired through methods other than trade during the time frame mentioned above (e.g. through scouting), the restriction will not apply and he will be able to play as a starting member immediately.

Notes on Trade

Please be aware of the following during trade.

  • * The remaining contract cycles, player condition and non-starting player attributes will be carried over. (However, non-starting player attributes will not be carried over during a World Trade)
  • * The effects of skill training, player loans, support cards, and number of games played will be lost.
  • * Extra training slots acquired by other users will not be carried over.
  • * You can only trade players of the same cost.
  • * You cannot trade players when you are in the Rookie League.
  • * Trades are not available during the change in cycles.
  • * If another user's Friend Trade slot has been used up, you will not be able to request a trade even if they fulfill the search criteria.
  • * The number of trades left represents the right to offer or accept a trade. Trades are confirmed when they are accepted. However, this does not mean that all trade offers will be accepted.

You cannot trade players under the following conditions.

  • Players with trade offers and players registered in trade matching.
  • Players registered to the active roster.
  • Exchanging the same player.
  • Players have had their contract extended for an extra cycle.

* Any troubles that occur as a result of trade negotiations are the responsibility of the users, and the MLB Manager Online Administrator will take no responsibility whatsoever.
